Strike King Shadalicious Swim Bait Review

While the Strike King Shadalicious is not a new swim bait, it is one of the most versatile and worth while baits you can find. There are, of course, a ton of different swim baits on the market right now, but you will find the Shadalicious has a few features and distinctions that help it stand above the competition.

The first thing you will notice is the life like action of the bait as soon as you get it into the water. This thing really moves like a bait fish moves, and the bass just really love it. During your retrieve, it will dart back and forth, and the tail will move very naturally, ultimately leading to more bass in the boat.

It comes in all sorts of different sizes and colors, and you will have to do a little experimentation to figure out which are the best for the waters you fish, but I have found the Sexy Shad and Neon Shad to be the most productive, so start there.

Another thing I love about the Shadalicious is how easy it is to rig up, and get into the water. This bait will not take you very long before it is ready to catch fish.

I use a belly weighted extra wide gap hook, in the size 5/0. Hook it through the nose of your bait first, then back through the belly of the lure. 

Be sure not to go too far through the nose at first. Going to deep in the nose will cause you to lose the action that makes this little swim bait so special.

The Strike King Shadalicious will help you catch more fish, no doubt about it. 

As far as swim baits go, this little bait is definitely one of my top picks, and I highly recommend it. Get it in your tackle box, and get more bass in the boat.
